Promapp Continues Global Expansion Naming McPhail
Director of Sales for North America and Europe
Former
Innotas VP Will Oversee U.S., Europe Sales Teams
Auckland, 1 March 2017 – Promapp
Solutions, an industry-leading provider of cloud-based
business process management (BPM) software for creating and
managing business processes online, has named Scott McPhail
as its Director of Sales for the US and European
markets.
Based in San Francisco, McPhail will be responsible for business development in North America and Europe. Promapp’s U.S. and European sales teams will report directly to him.
McPhail, who has a strong background in software sales, most recently served as Regional Vice President for Innotas, Inc. Before that company was acquired by Planview, LLC, McPhail was responsible for growing top-line, all-commodity volume revenue by 32% in the Western U.S. and Canada in FY 2016.
Before joining Innotas, McPhail served as President and Chief Executive Officer of McPhail Fuel Company, Inc., a residential and commercial/industrial energy provider serving the Northern California market. There, McPhail led operations for the retail propane business, while accomplishing a strategic overhaul that resulted in a USD$4.7 million increase in shareholder value per CPA audited financials.
McPhail also was previously a Senior Account Manager at Quest Software (where he closed substantial infrastructure deals with Google, Polycom, and CNET) and Embarcadero Technologies, Inc. (where he was responsible for closing deals with Bank of the West and Barclays Global Investors, among others).
The University of California, Berkeley graduate began his career as a Regional Sales Manager for Oracle Corporation, where his key accounts included Caterpillar, John Deere, and Motorola. He then served as an Account Manager at Lecco Technology, where he exceeded his predecessor’s results by 320%.
Ivan Seselj, CEO of Promapp Solutions, says, “We’re excited to have Scott head up our sales effort in North America and Europe. Scott is the epitome of the results-oriented professional. Throughout his career, he has constantly exceeded his sales goals. His strong track record and ability to close deals with a broad range of marquee companies will provide Promapp with an enormous advantage as market interest in cloud-based process improvement solutions increases and we continue our global sales and marketing expansion, particularly in the U.S. and Europe.”
Seselj continues, “More organisations in New Zealand and around the world are recognising the important role process management and improvement play in driving innovation, staff engagement, and competitive advantage. Leading C-suite executives are now making it a priority to create an environment that enables well-intentioned teams to drive effective change management, ensuring that critical process information is captured and presented in formats that teams across the business will actually use.”
Recently ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ Asia Pacific 2016, New Zealand-headquartered Promapp launched its US operations in 2015 and its Europe operations in 2016. In addition to a rapidly growing client base in New Zealand and Australia, Promapp now has users across North America and Europe among both private and public sector organisations. The company provides cloud-based business process mapping software which enables process improvement, quality assurance, and risk management in line with ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean principles. Promapp already numbers such marquee names as Coca-Cola Amatil, Air New Zealand, Genesis Energy, Toyota, McDonalds, and Ricoh among its clients. It recently added MorganFranklin Consulting, MSI Global Talent Solutions and JE Dunn to its roster of U.S. clients.
