New Director Appointments

Press Release

New Director Appointments

12th April 2017

UHY Haines Norton (Auckland) Limited announces the appointment of two new Directors: Andrew Scott and Bhavin Sanghavi.

Prior to joining UHY Haines Norton as an Associate in 2015, Andrew gained over 15 years’ of experience working for both mid-tier and boutique Auckland accountancy firms. He has worked with individuals and businesses across a wide range of industries.

Former UHY Haines Norton Director Tim Livingstone commented, “Andrew has already proved himself to be a very talented all-rounder with skills and experience beyond his years – combined with the drive and enthusiasm of a younger person.”

Andrew’s broad sector experience has allowed him to combine technical accounting skills with the ability to develop close working relationships with clients. “One of the things I love about my job,” says Andrew, “is meeting new people, talking to them about their passion for business and in life, and being able to support or assist them in turning their dreams into reality.”

Bhavin Sanghavi joined UHY Haines Norton’s Audit department 11 years ago, where he progressed from Senior Auditor to Supervisor and then Manager. He has played an instrumental role in developing and expanding the firm’s Audit department – today it is one of the largest teams in a mid-tier accounting firm in New Zealand with the only three licensed auditors in West Auckland.

Audit Director Sungesh Singh comments, “Bhavin demonstrates all of the attributes of a professional who is hungry to succeed. We feel that with his ‘go getter’ attitude, combined with his tremendous passion and drive, he will certainly get there.”

Bhavin’s sector experience includes private companies, public companies, not-for-profit organisations, education providers and real estate.
