Securely Wins New Zealand Security Industry Awards

Kapiti Coast, Tuesday 29th August 2017 - Horowhenua-based security and monitoring company, Securely, took out two top awards at this year’s 2017 Security Industry Annual Awards, held last week in Wellington.

The awards, held at Te Papa Friday 25th August were organised and hosted by the NZSA (New Zealand Security Association) and recognise excellence and outstanding service delivery within New Zealand.

Securely Territory Sales Manager, Bronnie Taylor, took home the ‘ NZ Security Consultant of the Year’ award, and ‘Female Security Professional of the Year’.

Securely National Development Manager, Chris Barber, says the awards are recognition that the less than three-year-old Levin based company is on the right track with its unique approach to security services.

“In establishing Securely, as part of the Electra group of companies, we wanted to redefine the way security services are delivered, building on our rich local history in Kapiti-Horowhenua monitoring electricity, water and gas networks . We have put control back in the hands of our customers - instead of only offering the traditional monitoring that other companies do, we work with our clients to find a solution that fits their needs and lifestyle.”

Bronnie Taylor says she is humbled to be recognised by her peers, especially since she has been working in the security sector for less than two years.
