Three Wins the Quarter for the First Time Since 2009,
Wins Three Nights Last Week
Three has won the quarter in the commercially important 25-54 demographic for the first time since Q3 2009 with a 22.8% share. Programming highlights across the quarter included: Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, The Block NZ, Westside, Newshub Leaders Debate, Newshub Election Special as well as the launch of Lost & Found and Grand Designs NZ. Three is currently tracking on an average share of 20.2% year-to-date.
Three also won the night three times last week in the commercially important 25-54 demographic – Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
Married at First Sight NZ continued last night, winning its timeslot across all four demographics with a 7.4 rating and 23.5% audience share in 25-54. The series continues tonight at 7.30pm on Three and ThreeNow as we join all the couples coming together at a cocktail party, seeing each other for the first time since their weddings.
Three’s Tuesday night line-up of Grand Designs NZ*, Lost & Found* and Killer Women with Piers Morgan also continued its winning streak, winning their respective timeslots in the 25-54 demographic.
Heading into the weekend, The Graham Norton Show, 7 Days* and Fail Army also cleaned up on Friday night with timeslot wins resulting in Three winning the night.
Finally, Sunday night blockbuster Gone Girl and late movie Lord of War also won their timeslots in 25-54.
In radio, New Zealand’s first festival of the season, KFC Edgefest, has just got even bigger with a stellar group of celebrity’s and social media stars joining the festival line-up in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch next month, plus newly-announced local artists confirmed to perform the three-city festival tour.
Appearing alongside KFC Edgefest international headliner Jason Derulo are British hitmaker Jonas Blue, Norwegian tropical house/pop princess Astrid S as well as a host of Kiwi artists including Kings, Mitch James, plus KFC and The Edge welcome Openside, P-Money and Savage to the bill.
