Nadia Lim and Josh Emett bring Malaysia to Kiwi kitchens

Mini Madam Woo ‘restaurants’ are popping up all over New Zealand, with My Food Bag’s new Malaysian-inspired collab.

Josh Emett’s iconic Kiwi restaurant has teamed up with My Food Bag to bring Madam Woo’s favourite dish to you. Those who sign up to the home-food delivery service and make at least two purchases in June, re-ceive a complimentary famous chicken curry with Asian greens recipe straight from Madam Woo, alongside all the ingredients you need to create the delicious dish.

Bringing authentic Malaysian flavours straight from the hawker to Kiwi kitchens, My Food Bag couldn’t be more excited. “We know our customers love rich, creamy curries and the fresh Asian flavours Madam Woo are famous for,” says My Food Bag’s co-founder Nadia Lim.

Lim continues, “Josh Emett is one of our very own Kiwi food legends, and we’re delighted to work with him and Madam Woo for this collaboration. Having eaten his Malaysian Chicken Curry many times before I can tell you it is deeeeelicious. I can’t wait to see what our customers think, i’m sure they’ll love it as much as I do.”

Emett is equally as thrilled to have teamed up with My Food Bag. He says, “I think the ethos of My Food Bags is very much aligned to us at Madam Woo. We want simple, unfussy and delicious food, and to get everyone cooking and experimenting too. I can’t wait for everyone to turn their homes into mini-Madam Woo’s for a night.”
