CMD Print Solutions Celebrates 20 years in Business
Albany printing company CMD Print Solutions have
recently celebrated their 20th year in business.
The company started as “Copy Magic”, but as a corporate, high volume printing provider, a change of ownership saw the company take a new direction and in April 1998 was renamed CMD Print Solutions.
Taking the business down a new path, CMD Print Solutions looked to diversify and broaden their product offering, investing heavily in the latest digital printing technology the company rapidly shifted from a simple copying business to a full service print advertising agency.
“We knew that if we were to survive in an increasingly competitive industry, we would need to keep up with the latest in printing technology and offer our clients creative new ways to market themselves through print”, says CMD Print Solutions director, Danny van der Velde.
This decision has ultimately paid off and after two decades in business, CMD Print Solutions has built up a client base throughout Auckland and nationwide.
van der Velde puts the company’s longevity down to a range of decisions – expanding product offering, adopting sustainable practices, keeping up with latest technology. However, he believes the ultimate factor in their long term success stems from the relationships they have built with both their clients and employees.
“New Zealand is a small place. You don’t last this long without looking after your customers and the people you work with”.
"We think it’s quite an achievement, especially in such a competitive industry”.
“Putting in the effort upfront to establish a good reputation with both clients and employees, you are ultimately rewarded with the level of trust which business longevity affords you”, explains van der Velde.
“Our prospects are aware that we’ve been around a long time – some of our staff have been with us 10+ years, so they trust that we are not just a fly-by-night agency”.
CMD Print Solutions is located at 21b Tarndale Grove, Albany, where they serve businesses both locally and throughout New Zealand.
