Microcredentials a welcome addition to industry training

The Industry Training Federation warmly welcomes today’s announcement that microcredentials will be recognised as part of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.

Industries have been looking for new and more flexible ways to recognise skill sets developed in response to changing technologies, employment structures and work requirements.

“Industry is enthusiastic, and the industry training sector is looking forward to more flexible and efficient ways to develop workforce skills through microcredentials.” Mr Williams says.
