Hey ppl, just one last spam for the year, for those who are in Wellington for Christmas and New Years; to let you know what is happening at The Matterhorn.

Saturday 23rd-b.lo's Saturday night stunner. Chill with b.lo this Saturday, go with the flowand get a taste of what's coming this New Years at The Matterhorn. We love our resident DJs and love even more to give 'em a chance to move around a bit, expand their styles and have "special" nights. catch b.lo this Saturday for a laid back evening of bass and drum.

Sunday 24th - Cian's Christmas Carols After you have done all your shopping, pop into the matterhorn for our traditional Christmas Eve session including bar-b and DJs in the garden. Cian and Vee will be joined by guests from 4pm-ish till 3am Christmas day; you'll definatley be seeing Santa is you stay that late. Relax, kick back at The Matterhorn this Sunday.

Wednesday 27th - DJ Ah Um. Back ibn the swing of things, the Domestic Lounge presents a monthly vinyl session for jazz junkies. AH UM produces The Zambesi Jewel School on Radio Active 89FM every Saturday with ZenŠ come check AH UM¹s nu urban jazz and soul spirit.Open from 4pm

Thursday 28th - b.lo Bass Frontiers resident b-lo is our man on the drum and bass scene, his Thursday night residency at The Matterhorn is a popular weekend warm-up. b-lo plays all styles with the resolution that they be smart, sexy and full of tha funk we associate with the ŒHorn. B-lo's dancefloor is never an empty one, try it out for a great alternative to the packed weekend nights at The Matterhorn.

Friday 29th - Zen and Guests Join Zen and guests for the last Friday night of the year. This is probably the only Friday night all year that The Matterhorn won't be in gridlock, so jump in and enjoy Zen expanding the dancefloor with hot tunes fresh off the boat.

Saturday 30th - Cian and guests in the monkey cage... Uh oh, this looks like trouble. Get with the grooviest travelling DJ this side of San Francisco, jam with Cian and guests as they dish up the sweetest kink, funk, soul and jazz. You've hit the jackpot!

Sunday 31st - New Years Evening Cruising on a Sunday afternoon, dulling the new years eve pressure, The Matterhorn helps you off to a relaxing start. With our resident Bass Frontiers DJ b.lo pulling out the jazzy shit from 6pm - 11pm, nice get your drink and your snack on and lounge in The Matterhorn Gardens. At 11pm the infamous fat Freddys drops sizzling beats for two hours including an extra special ringing out of the last millennium (the real end of it...) and we take it banging into the new. The matterhorn will be closing soon after midnight, so the fab staff that have been serving you with smiles all year can party too. Have a great one. See you out there!

Spot On Sundays from 7.01.01 Starting on Sunday the 7th of January 2001 is our new family oriented initiative. Featuring Fonky Monk Cian (UK Direct) and The Navigator Zero. Opening mid afternoon with sunshine sounds in the gardens for Matterhorn friends and familys. Bring your kids, have a beer and a wee boogie without getting crushed by the weekend crowds. Hang loose.
