what's good this week? well there are many things to do before you pop into The Matterhorn this week, when you do though, try the NEW imported Heineken's we are now stocking. Very classy!

Well there is 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' on at The Embassy, Toa Frasers' #2 starring Madeline Sami starts at Downstage next week, Welly movie Stickmen is on at The Paramount and is doing very well, and every night on TV1 at 10.15 see The New Zealand Wars docco, also starting on Monday on TV1 at 10.15 a series of New Zealand documentaries, entitled New Zealand Festival.

As for music, there are free summer city concerts all over the Botanical gardens.

Wednesday 31st - The Domestic Lounge presents DJ Ah Um local DJ, AH UM produces The Zambesi Jewel School on Radio Active 89FM every Saturday with ZenŠ His favours are bent on Africa-jazz, ghetto funk and soulful instrumentals. Come check AH UM¹s nu urban jazz and soul spirit.

Thursday 1st - Expansions with b.lo Bass Frontiers resident b-lo is the Matterhorn¹s weekly smart vibes; his Thursday night residency at The Matterhorn is a popular weekend warm-up. b-lo plays all styles from drum and bass, jazz and techno all knitted with funk and soul b-lo's dancefloor is never an empty one, try it out for a great alternative to the packed weekend nights at The Matterhorn.

Friday 2nd - Zen & Vee Gotta love Friday nights at the Matterhorn, always packed and pumping out the finest relaxing tunes to escape the work day woes. Join Zen and his good buddy Vee who moves to Friday night for one show only, giving CCT a full Saturday night to spin.
