Friday 23rd - Zen & CCT Gotta love Friday nights at the Matterhorn, always packed and pumping out the finest relaxing tunes to escape the work day woes. Zen and special guest DJ CCT slap on the songs that make the young girls cry.

Saturday 24th - The Jewel School Vs The Soul Emergency Join us for Cuba Carnival madness as we duel two of our favourite sound sytems in true jazz funk and soul style. Representing the Jewel School is DJ Ah UM with Afro-beat, jazz and sorted funk and big upping for the Soul Emergency is Toby Hornblower dishing up soul, jazz and disco delights. Be there!

Plus playing at the Matterhorn Jazz stage at The Cuba Street Carnival you can hear Steffan Goeres, Woody, Jonathan Crayford, Twinset, Rive Gauche and heaps of cool jazz mofo DJs... that's 11am-10pm Saturday 24th and 11am - 6pm on Sunday 25th.

Sunday 25th - Spot On Sundays Join as at The Matterhorn for our new entertainment directive for the late summer months. Now we bring you Spot On Sundays, a late afternoon session in the Matterhorn Gardens with the navigator Zero playing a refreshing and relaxing blend of mood grooves. A friends and family session starting with the live broadcast of Gilles Peterson Worldwide from Radio Active 89FM 6-8pm

Wednesday 28th - DJ Ah Um with special guest Top Knot local DJ, AH UM produces The Zambesi Jewel School on Radio Active 89FM every Saturday with ZenŠ His favours are bent on Africa-jazz, ghetto funk and soulful instrumentals. Come check AH UM¹s nu urban jazz and soul spirit. This week Ah Um is supported by Aotearoa Sound Systems' DJ Top Knot also a jazz and afro rhythms nerd. should be good.

Thursday 1st - Your MC for the millennium KING KAPISI Orientation 2001 is proud to bring you the very best in Aotearoa hip hop, King Kapisi, together with DJ's Raw and Vee, in the intimate atmosphere of the Matterhorn Gardens, as some of the premier playas in our home-grown hip hop scene come together for a very special show. Saturday 3rd - Electric Brasil Initiated at The New Jazz Transplant, in the spirit of Orientation and good clean Latin fun we present another installation of Electric Brasil. Get your fruity self down to this butt wiggling session of hip swinging brasilian and brasil influenced samba magic. Get your groove on with DJs Cuff, Zen and guests. $2 Cover

Thursday 8th - Expansions with Clinton Smiley B.lo is blowing at the candles at Bass Frontiers birthday, so for one week only experience the magic of Smiley, mid-week. Local house god Clinton Smiley guests on the wheels of steel, a little bit of house, 2 step, and loads of stunning tunes. Its sure to be funky.

Koa ups tempo with groovy 2 -step, soul, humdinger house and then evens the night out with lush reggae and dub. Join this cheeky pair for a peaky night of fun filled dancefloor delights. be there.
