Recognising that film-making is a collaborative process we have brought together one of New Zealand’s most successful partnerships. Creators of the kiwi classic “Scarfies”, Robert and Duncan Sarkies are proven storytellers who have established a reputation for innovation and excellence in their work. From script to screen students will learn tools and techniques that will help them find their own distinctive voice as a film-maker. The course is filled with practical exercises designed to inspire creativity and help students to raise the bar with their own material, however this is not a ‘learn how to use film equipment’ kind of course.

There are two courses: Wellington, 13 January - 1 February; Auckland 10 February - 1 March (Sundays off) with 10 - 16 students in each course.
