Catalogues for our first ever Autumn Yearling & 2YO Breeze Up Sale are now available for viewing at http://www.nzb.co.nz.

This new sale day will be conducted at our Karaka Sales Complex on Friday 9th May.

The 2YOs will complete Breeze Ups on Friday 4th April and video footage will available for viewing on line at www.nzb.co.nz by Monday 7th April.

This new sale will be followed by our National Weanling & Broodmare Sale at Karaka on May 11, 12 and 13.

Once again this sale, which is NZ's major foal and breeding stock sale, has attracted a bumper catalogue of 720 entries.

Buyers will find well over 300 weanlings by such appealing sires as Cape Cross, Carnegie, Centaine, Daggers Drawn, Danasinga, Deputy Governor, Desert King, Faltaat, Fasliyev, Generous, Grand Lodge, Kaapstad, King of Kings, Lake Coniston, O’Reilly,Shinko King, Stravinsky, Zabeel and many more.

First crop weanling sires include:
Align (Champion Australian 2YO).
Almutawakel (Dubai World Cup winning son of Machiavellian). Chief Bearhart (Breeders Cup Turf winner, Champion USA Turf Horse, Canadian Horse of the Year).
Elnadim (Champion Sprinter, Grp 1 Newmarket July Cup winner and impeccably bred, by Danzig x Elle Seule) and Singspiel (Japan Cup winner, Champion USA Turf Horse and already sire of 10 stakes horses), to name just a few.

The 366 strong Broodmare offering will include mares carrying services to sires such as:Align, Black Minnaloushe, Centaine, Chief Bearhart, Elnadim, Fantastic Light, Flying Spur, Fuji Kiseki, Keeper, Minardi, Montjeu, Orpen, Postponed, San Luis, Stravinsky, Traditionally, Volksraad and Zabeel to name a handful.
