The Art of Islam 18 April – 15 June Created for shahs, princes and sultans over eight centuries and as many countries, The Art of Islam presents rare objects of exceptional beauty from the Kuwait National Museum. Objects include 10th century glass and porcelain, fine carpets and ceramics, gem-encrusted jewellery and exquisite gold-leaf texts from the Koran. Special exhibition hall. Adults $10, concs $7.50.

Pacific Origins Every Wednesday in May A four part lecture series on the origins of the Pacific.
