Style On Stage Shares The Best Of Fashion Week

MEDIA RELEASE

STYLE ON STAGE SHARES THE BEST OF
L’OREAL NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK WITH THE PUBLIC

Auckland, October 2003 - Style on Stage is a chance for the public to share in the excitement of Fashion Week and preview Winter 2004 trends in an evening catwalk show.

Hosted by Style magazine, Style on Stage will feature highlights from the designer collections as shown at L’Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week.

The two shows will take place on Thursday 23rd October at 6 pm and 8.30 pm at the Auckland Town Hall with tickets costing $25.00 per person.

Style magazine’s editor, Stacy Gregg says that Style on Stage reinforces the magazine’s commitment to balancing directional fashion with accessibility to the reader.

“Fashion week shows are usually restricted to industry insiders, with members of the public only getting to see the designers’ collections once they hit the pages of magazines or newspapers,” says Gregg. “Style on Stage is a chance for fashion followers to share in the buzz of Fashion Week and judge for themselves which designs they like the best.”

Style will also produce the Look Book, the highlights supplement which will be attached exclusively to the January issue of Style magazine (available early December). The Look Book will showcase the garments and designers of L’Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week.

Style on Stage at L’Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week has two sessions – 6 pm and 8.30 pm, on the main catwalk at Auckland’s Town Hall on Thursday 23rd.
Tickets are $25, available at Ticketek.
