The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects have presented awards for landscape architecture for the last 15 years.
New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) president Di Lucas said New Zealand was changing rapidly in cities, towns and in the countryside.
``It is a time of challenge for the landscape architecture profession to assist in ensuring the changes respond to the special qualities of this country.
``These awards are an important opportunity for clients and
the public to see what is current best practice in this
profession.’’
