This Fringe Festival 2004, Minnie Moo Productions presents Hospital Corners a fast paced crazy show about a chaotic neurotic “normal” Kiwi family. Hospital Corners is full of chaos, misunderstandings, clever dialogue, physical comedy, a mysterious pregnancy and finally the mother has had enough and barricades herself in a box! What will happen at the end will be surprise to everyone and the show will certainly go out with a bang.

Hospital Corners is a new New Zealand work debuting at the Fringe 2004, It is not for the faint hearted, the audience will certainly have a lot of laughs but they might find themselves questioning their moral fibre. It is an interesting, busy play to watch and bucket-loads of fun to perform.

Hospital Corners is written by Amalia Calder. It is her second script to be staged in Wellington. Her first play was an adaptation of Hansel and Gretel, which she wrote and put on in September 2003 with Kapitall Kids Theatre. It played to a majority of full houses and was well reviewed. This resulted in an invitation from the Wellington City Council to put the play on at the Botanical Gardens as part of the 2004 Summer City Programme.

Hospital Corners is proud to have all professional, Wellington actors, who are: Natasya Yusoff, Bev Driscoll, Estelle Clifford, Des Morgan and Amalia Calder.
