Hey, its the first Shortfuse of
the year....
Shortfuse41 : A Night Of
Shortfilms
This Sunday night, 7.30pm at the Classic Comedy
bar - we're showcasing the latest and greatest shorts.
Featuring the experimental eye-fest of David Eggleton's
Teleprompter, the dry wit of Marc Laureano's Cake, a tasty
sampler of films from Michelle Menzies... and more and
more... Only $6 for MIC members, Bcard holders and students,
and $8 for others. MIC is seeking sound based, VJ/ DJ collaborations
and/or experimental film and video works for possible
selection in an MIC selected Film Festival programme. Films
up to 25 minutes will be considered. Fringe Festival Entries The 17th
Wellington Fringe Film Festival will be held at The
Paramount Theatre in Wellington from 5-9 July, 2004. There
is no selection process and no entry fee although you must
attend. The philosophy behind the Fringe is to establish a
valuable support network, encourage debate and challenge
film makers to push the boundaries. Mentors will host
forums and facilitate question and answer periods which
follow each film. For entry forms and further
information please visit our web site
atwww.fringefilmfest.co.nz or call (04) 802-4942. Newcomers
please check out our 'Guide to the Fringe'. Seeking Documentaries,
animations, short films, features, clay-mation, music
videos.- no real criteria, but are looking for a wide
variety that represent the creativity of our culture. Our
motive is to raise money and awareness for a local Auckland
radio station Fleet FM 88.3. My ideals are based on artists
networking and sharing resources. Shortcuts Cologne Entries Call for
