48Hours - Furious Filmmaking Competition

May 13, 2004

SUBJECT: 48HOURS - Furious Filmmaking.

Hello Film Fans,

48HOURS is an intense filmmaking event. Cowards need not apply. This is NZ's premiere short film competition. Seriously folks, this is no walk in the park. Teams have just one weekend to write, shoot, edit and survive the completion of an entire short film!

This year hundreds of people will take to the streets on June 11th for some creative chaos. So come on, do it for the sheer fun of seeing all your hard work on a big screen with an enthusiastic crowd, or just do it for the chance to win international airfares, $$$, GX30 mobile phones, Apple eMacs, writing workshops, directing workshops, Apple editing software, a dvd of the best of AK & WGTN, set visits and much much more.

Shooting Weekend is June 11-13. Registration begins now. It's easy to enter. To register for the competition, please download the pdfs on the website and mail us your entry fee, entry form, participation agreement to:

48HOURS - PO Box 5653, Wellesley St, Auckland, NZ.

Entry forms available online http://www.48hours.co.nz

The website will be updated shortly with the annoucement of prizes, where the heats will be held and more. There are a limited number of team spaces for each competing city - Auckland/Wellington.

Premiere Sponsors:

V Energy Drink, Vodafone, Apple, Voyage Affairs
