Win Tickets To Homegrown

Homegrown is the dynamic Kiwi short film programme of the Telecom New Zealand International Film Festivals 2004.

Always a stand-out feature, the three diverse programmes which comprise of Homegrown - film, video and documentary offer a dynamic platform for up-and-coming and established filmmakers to present their work at the highest level of film festival exhibition in this country.

This year's programme features an eclectic mix of films: internationally acclaimed 35mm works that have travelled to Cannes and Sundance, cross-cultural flavours, dance, animation and documentary. Highlights include: David Rittey's Closer, Cannes Film Festival 2004 nominee; Generation, a masterpiece of animation based on a short poem and Figures of Speech, richly textured dance piece from prolific Dunedin based dance filmmaker, Daniel Belton.

Arts Calendar is offering a double pass to those living in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin to Homegrown: Works on Film and Homegrown: Works on Video.

The first people to email info@artscalendar.co.nz stating their preference of city (Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin) film, date & time will receive a double pass to either Homegrown: Works on Film or Homegrown: Works on Video. Full details of both films, dates and times are available on www.artscalendar.co.nz
