FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rialto Tauranga “The new way to go to the movies!”
Rialto Entertainment, New Zealand’s leading film exhibition and distribution specialists are launching Rialto Tauranga; a brand new three-screen upmarket cinema complex in downtown Tauranga, which will be an industry ‘first’ for New Zealand.
Rialto Entertainment is
owned by David Ross and Kelly Rogers and Rialto
Entertainment is the fifty percent owner of the highly
successful Rialto Cinema circuit in New Zealand.
Rialto
Entertainment also co-owns the Rialto Channel, and the
soon-to-be launched on-line DVD rental chain, Rialtoflix.
The new Rialto Tauranga will feature exclusive films for a wide and discerning audience, and have large armchair-style seats where people can choose to take premium drinks, ice creams and coffee into the cinema during the screening of the film. The Rialto will feature digital sound and a digital screen, offering an extremely high-quality presentation. On-line ticket purchasing will be a new initiative, to guarantee your seat by pre-purchasing in advance given the popularity of Rialto cinema-going in general.
Kelly Rogers, Rialto Entertainment CEO says, “We intend offering a service that will appeal to everyone, and be very, very comfortable. There will be a lot of films not only for the older audience, but a wide selection of the best movies from around the globe. We are passionate about raising the standard of cinema going to an extremely intimate and comfortable environment. This new direction in cinema comfort and service has not previously been available in New Zealand, and we believe with the strength of the Rialto brand and the quality of product on offer, Rialto Tauranga will lead the way in overall cinema experience for New Zealand. We feel strongly that the people of Tauranga should be treated to this level of service and comfort and we will be providing fantastic value for money in terms of our offering”
The Rialto Tauranga cinema complex will open Easter 2005.
