SKY Television’s Rugby Channel is offering viewers the chance to get a new and different perspective in the upcoming Philips Tri Nations rugby games. SKY’s Rugby Channel subscribers will now be able to listen to Australian and South African commentaries as well as the SKY team’s commentary and expert analysis.
During the All Blacks Test against the Wallabies in Sydney on Saturday, August 7, the Australian commentary will be available and for the game against the Springboks in Johannesburg, on Sunday morning, August 15, the Rugby Channel will play the Afrikaans commentary.
Viewers on the Rugby Channel (SKY Digital Channel 15) need only press the ‘+’ button on their remote, arrow down to the desired commentary and press the ‘enter’ button.
The Rugby Channel is also providing an extended build-up to each Test including replays of classic All Black encounters with both the Wallabies and the Springboks, along with previews and scene-setting reports throughout the day.
The Rugby Channel, of course, also allows viewers to enjoy the rugby in 16:9 widescreen and displays many additional game statistics.
