Join Amitav Ghosh in Wellington with his much anticipated new novel The Hungry Tide. Born in Calcutta, Ghosh worked for the Indian Express in New Delhi before immigrating to England. He earned his doctorate at Oxford, and then wrote his first novel, The Circle of Reason. Ghosh earned his international reputation with The Glass Palace. Chair: Jane Stafford
