Coast - free and live tonight on Maori Television
Kia Ora,
The sounds of the Pacific are blasting out of the whare tonight for PASIFIKA NIGHT on COAST, New Zealand's only live music show, Fridays 9.00 PM on Maori Television.
DEI HAMO - the man assaulting the charts with his fresh hit We Gon Ride - is in the house to rock the nation with his fresh grooves and larger-than-life personality. Then, hip hop gurus MAREKO and SAVAGE continue the Pacific beats and bring it home to cement their places as two of the most influential rap artists in the country.
Slowing down the pace with their smooth Polynesian Soul-influenced sounds is four-piece Auckland Gospel quartet JAMOA JAM, before gorgeous Tui Award-winner SARA-JANE AUVA'A takes to the mic with her dulcet tones.
As if that wasn't enough to satisfy your insatiable appetites, we've got log drummers, we've got B-gurl Sheeq back from Germany to share her exploits at the Battle of the Year 2004 AND...wait for it.....we've got the legendary BROTHER LOVE with the Vaimutu Strings to round off a sweet night of PI splendour!
Tune in tonight for the hottest New Zealand music, crews and artists on COAST with Brent Mio and Shavaughn Ruakere.
Live to air & FREE AND OPEN to the public, COAST, 9.00PM to 10.30PM, Friday November 19, 9-15 Davis Crescent, Newmarket - all welcome.
