the spoils duo : Sean Simmons & Bronwyn Henderson are core members of Melbourne band, The Spoils. Comprising of vocals, violin, accordion, glockenspiel, harmonica and a drone box, Sean & Bronwyn boast a varied sound with more colour and texture than the usual acoustic duo. Described as side-show balladry coupled with the perils and pitfalls of a dysfunctional circus, Sean & Bronwyn have an impeccable rapport on stage that has won them a dedicated fan base in their home country of Australia.

They have released two albums with their band, The Spoils (Hurtsville , & Goodnight Victoria) while Bronwyn has performed on a plethora of recordings as a violinist, and Sean as a guitarist, bassist and harmonica player. Both albums have sold well in Europe & the U.S as well as their home, Australia enjoying consistent radio play.

the spoils (band): Couple urban balladry with the perils and pitfalls of a dysfunctional circus. Since the release of their debut album Hurtsville, the spoils have toured the East Coast extensively playing with the likes of Bonnie Prince Billy, Catpower, Tex Perkins, Dave Graney, The Flying Burrito Bros, Richard Buckner and Augie March.
