Then Sam’s back on Friday, 10 till 12, to do his usual roundup of the week in politics, before he goes bonkas on Saturday night, election night, with an election special from 9pm till late.
As part of NZ Music Week, Radio One proudly presents a three part documentary series ‘Playtime: How cool is school’ on High Schools and Music. Station Manager Lesley Paris sent Programme Director James Gates back to school to check out the sounds and attitudes of music students and teachers at Dunedin High Schools. James investigates the importance of music in the school syllabus, the musical relationship between teachers and students, and the kind of music that the students are composing and performing.
