Hanes celebrates 40 years of Kiwi music

The best of our best musical talent strides the red carpet to glory this October as The Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards cranks up the volume again.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the New Zealand Music Awards and to celebrate Hanes has made official Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards t-shirts and they are available for the public to buy.

The quality Hanes tees feature a unique design featuring the four symbols that represent the special qualities of New Zealand music.

"All of us at Hanes are proud to be associated with New Zealand music and are stoked about our involvement in such a special awards presentation," says Hanes brand manager, Natalie Winter.

"To be the official t-shirt sponsor for the 2005 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards is a great fit for Hanes and an honour to boot. The brand is legendary amongst kiwis for its classic American Beefy-T and the Fit-T. Like New Zealand music, the legends live on just as strong today!

"We can thank the New Zealand music industry for some great music legends of the past! And the industry continues to produce highly talented, inspiring young kiwis. The Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards is a great place to recognize their achievements."

Made from natural cotton, the official Hanes tees are designed for both guys and girls.

The tees are being sold at all Real Groovy stores around the country, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin with an RRP of $30.
