1st Division Winners in Dunedin, Hastings & Orewa
$666,667 Each for 3 Lotto 1st Division Winners in Dunedin, Hastings & Orewa
It was a case of six being the lucky number for three Lotto tickets bought in Dunedin, Hastings and Orewa, with each winning a $666,667 share of the $2 million Lotto First Division jackpot in tonight’s draw, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall.
“With $2 million up for grabs, we’ve made three very big winners this week, continuing the South Island’s great run of luck in recent weeks with the Dunedin win, and bringing some pre-Christmas cheer for whoever bought the other two tickets in Orewa and Hastings,” he says.
“To cap off a great weekend for the South Island, a ticket sold in Christchurch has won Strike Four, taking home a massive $373,645.
“Lotto players who bought tickets in Dunedin, Christchurch, Hastings and Orewa for this week’s draw should check their tickets as these prizes are just waiting to be claimed,” says Mr Hall.
“Not only that, but another nine Lotto players have won $30,978 with Lotto Division Two, a handy amount to buy that new car, take that trip, or have the Christmas of your dreams.”
The Winning Wheel ticket serial number for this draw is 089-54162189-20xx from Hamilton and this week’s Winning Wheel spinner, Margaret Beattie from Palmerston North, won $175,000.
Powerball First Division was not won and has jackpotted to an estimated $2.5 million for next week’s draw.
