Big Wednesday Jackpots – $11 million plus
Big Wednesday Jackpots – $11 million plus luxury prizes on offer next Wednesday.
The new lottery game, Big Wednesday, has jackpotted, with $11 million cash and other luxury prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall said tonight.
"The First Division prize is now so big that when it is won, not only will it be the largest ever Big Wednesday prize, but it will also be the third biggest prize won on any of our games.
"Normally we would have expected it to be won by now, but it's brilliant that we could potentially make our third largest winner ever, next week.
"Players are aware of this and are supporting our new game with sales increasing each week as the jackpot grows," says Mr Hall.
At the next draw, on 8 February, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $11 million;
- Porsche 911 Carrera;
- Range Rover Vogue V8;
- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years;
- $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- Mustang luxury launch; and
- $500,000 holiday home.
"All the same 'goodies' that were on offer last week are still there, but added to that is more cash, a million and a half more.
"Now that's an ultimate lifestyle.
"Our very first First Division Big Wednesday winner will never have to look at a price tag again. They'll be able to travel the globe using their luxury travel prize. They'll also have $11 million in the bank and a Porsche and Range Rover in the garage, not to mention a luxury launch in the boat harbour and a holiday home to enjoy," says Mr Hall.
"We've had two players just a coin toss away from winning Big Wednesday First Division. Both players had the correct six numbers line up on their ticket, but the coin toss did not go their way. Because of this they won Big Wednesday Second Division.
A ticket from Countdown Eastgate, in Christchurch won Big Wednesday's serial number draw, open to all tickets bought for tonight's draw. The ticket holder has won a prize of $25,000 cash.
The winning serial number is 156-44749574-13XX.
"Anyone who has a ticket from Countdown Eastgate should check it immediately," Mr Hall says.
Although the big Division One prize was not won tonight, there were a total of 97,821 winners from the draw.
