Ford New Zealand has announced exciting changes to its sponsorship of Equestrian Sport New Zealand including the development of a Ford Talent ID squad and the continuation of naming rights of the Ford National One Day Championships.
"Over the past six years, Ford has enjoyed a successful relationship with Equestrian Sport NZ as naming rights sponsor of the National One Day Championships at Tauherenikau Racecourse, Featherston - we are delighted to continue our association of this high profile event for a further two years," said Jen Ingleby, Ford New Zealand Sponsorship Manager.
"The branding of the event reflects the diverse vehicle needs of the equestrian community and Ford's ability to provide a vehicle for every application, whether it is a tough Courier truck for work on the farm or a Fiesta with small car handling and large car capabilities for daily driving."
"New Zealand has a proud history of international equestrian success at World Championship and Olympic level - the newly created Ford Talent ID Squad will seek to identify the international equestrian stars of the future and provide them with training and support through intensive three-day clinics held in the North and South Islands."
Members of the Ford Talent ID Squad will be in action this weekend (May 19-21) in the Ford Novice Class at the Bell Tea National Three Day Championships at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo.
