Free school holiday fun at Westfield centres

Put your dancing shoes on kids – there’s some spectacular free music shows lined up at selected Westfield shopping centres these July school holidays.

New Zealand dance entertainers Soul of Siren are performing Pop Sync Shows at nine Westfield centres nation-wide during the two week break.

Kids will marvel at the energetic routines where several dancers and a lead ‘singer’ imitate the performances of well known international artists. Dance genres include hip-hop, krump, break dancing and funk.

These performers imitate some of your favourite artists like the Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Destiny's Child and the Sugababes and their shows are a tribute to these groups.

And everyone can join in. Each show has a short interactive section with one of the performers leading young spectators and teaching them a series of dance moves to music. Plus kids can get up close to performers in a special meet and greet session after the show.

Other school activities at selected Westfield Auckland and Christchurch centres include the Ronald McDonald Show, Go Vertical Bungy Tramp and the Air Castle and Train Rides.
