Kia ora,

You poor things must be distraught this week - we don't have any shows on this week due to some well deserved maintenance time for the Theatre and foyer, getting done as we speak... the paint fumes are glorious, the power tools are awe-inspring and if you want to join in the fun let us know (ahem, shameful plug).

But never fear! Next week we have two cracker jack shows to get you back in the BATS swing of things - From next Tuesday, the all boxed up wonders of Shifting, and from next Friday that man about everywhere directs the supreme new NZ play and what remains. Get your tickets now folks, it is going to be a biggy.

A potential future. Set at Wellington's International Departure's Lounge - and what remains is a story which foreshadows the possibility of ethnic cleansing in New Zealand.

Emerging Pacific Islands Artist of the Year (2005), Miria George (Rarotonga, Atiu, Cook Islands; Te Arawa, Ngati Awa) has refined her controversial play for this return seaosn, following a successful seaosn at the City Gallery in 2005.

and what remains features a multi award-winning crew, with direction by Hone Kouka and sound design by Stephen Gallagher.
