MTV's Snow Cave Fires Up Wanaka

MTVNZ is taking its nationwide VJ search, connected by Vodafone, to the snow as part of the network's action-packed Snow Cave event at the Billabong Slopestyle Jam, Wanaka Snow Park.

Snow Cave, sponsored by Vodafone and XBOX360, will take place on August 25 and 26 during the Billabong Slopestyle Jam which features the best in local and international snowboarders competing for the 2006 Billabong Slopestyle Jam title.

"Wanaka Snow Park is going to be on fire", says Pip Jamieson MTV NZ Marketing Manager," MTV's Snow Cave will feature free giveaways, ZM's Black Thunders, the Billabong Slopestyle Jam event, our VJ search and a live performance on the snow by Elemeno P."

"All of the action will be captured on film for a brand new MTV local show, Snow Cave, which premieres on MTV September 22 at 4pm on Channel 35,SKY TV "
The MTV VJ search, connected by Vodafone, will take place at the base of the snowboarding half pipe from 10am to 5pm on August 25 and 26. There, MTV VJ hopefuls can get their face in front of a camera and try out as the next star of MTV.

The Billabong Slopestyle Jam takes place in Wanaka, August 25 to August 27. MTV's Snow Cave event, August 26 and 26 with a free live performance by Emeno P 4pm on Saturday 26.
