Studentville... Coming to C4 Soon

Studentville... Coming to C4 Soon.

Tertiary Education is a must for those wishing to educate themselves to a level at which they can succeed in their chosen career. It's a time for pouring over text books, stressing out over deadlines, exams, tutorials and, well....let's face it - it's a bit of a knees up really.

And so, C4 is about to remove the veil surrounding student life in NZ with the premiere of STUDENTVILLE. We're diving head first into the sweaty pits (sorry there's no better way to say it) of Toga parties, Slime wrestling, the Exponents 'at the Hilly', Extreme-ish games, Hyde Street Keg Party, the Undie 500 and other must attend dates on our student calendars. Filmed over the last few months throughout NZ.... if the students were there - so were our cameras, even in Castle Street at the much talked about police vs scarfies incident earlier this month.

STUDENTVILLE covers the University Games, the Faculty Balls and more than its fair share of pub crawls. The findings are cringe worthy, hilarious and revealing - we'll discover the ratio of males to females on campus and exactly how many "tapp-able bitches" there are in Otago. As producer Hamish Coleman-Ross says "it's not that studying, debating politics and foreign policy aren't important.....they just don't make for good tv".

A celebration of youth that is as kiwi as you can get, STUDENTVILLE premieres Monday September 11th at 10.00pm.
