Chris Pfeiffer pushing the boundaries of Streetbike-Freestyle
What does one call someone who doesn’t break legal laws, but those of physics instead? His name: Chris Pfeiffer professional streetbike freestyle rider.
German born Pfeiffer will be showing how he defies the laws of physic and gravity at a demonstration in Aotea Square on Thursday 9th November at 1pm.
Riding the new BMW F 800S, BMW’s first parallel twin cylinder motor combined with a lightweight chassis, Pfeiffer will demonstrate the absurd things one can do on two wheels, from the: The No Hand or One O’Clock Wheelie, a 270 stoppie, or his favourite trick, the Three Sixty Ground.
Pfeiffer age 36 from Bavaria, has for the past 10 years made his living by amazing the crowd with his Streetbike freestyle tricks.
At the beginning of 2006 Pfeiffer changed onto the BMW
F800S and after no more than 2 months of practice on the new
bike, he won the most prestigious US Streetbike Freestyle
Competition, the legendary "Stuntwars" in Florida.
The
agility and perfect engine characteristics of the brand new
BMW 2-cylinder bike helped Pfeiffer to victory at the
biggest freestyle motorcycle competition in the US where
every other bike was a 4-cylinder.
Pfeiffer has a number of titles under his belt including European Champion and a spot in Guiness book of records for his extraordinary 2-wheel tricks.
Pushing the boundaries and limits with new tricks Pfeiffer has spent 2006 demonstrating to enthusiastic crowd’s world wide. And now New Zealanders can experience up close and personal the true dynamics of streetbike freestyler Chris Pfeiffer.
