Kiwi FM Brings the Music Back to the Working People
After Five Live at The Living Room: Perfect for After Work Entertainment
This Thursday, 23rd of November, Kiwi FM and The Living Room present the first of a brand new series of kiwi music gigs at the very reasonable hour of 5.30 pm.
The After Five Live series is designed to give those that balk at late nights (we know who you are) the chance to catch some of New Zealand’s finest musicians straight after work, so now there’s no excuse for missing out.
The series launches on Thursday with Paul McLaney, who has taken time out from his debut Edin tour to kick off After Five Live. McLaney will be no stranger to New Zealand music fans, having formerly fronted Gramsci before heading out on his own.
The new event is a great way to showcase New Zealand music to a market that may not have the chance or the time to get along to many local gigs.
After Five Live is a free event, so it’s perfect for getting colleagues or friends together for a night out. After the live set, Kiwi FM’s hosts will be putting together the best New Zealand music to enjoy throughout the evening.
The Living Room is situated at 106 Ponsonby Rd. It has quickly become one of the area’s most popular venues with a superb range of beers, wines and fine food.
