Important Big Day Out Ticket Information

With a Christmas sales rush complete and a sell-out looming for the Big Day Out, promoters have issued the following information about where you can still buy tickets to the event in Auckland on 19 January.

Tickets are still available from Ticketek outlets nationwide and Ticketek's phone and online outlets.

There are still plenty of tickets available from most retail outlets north of Hamilton in the North Island, including Sounds, Real Groovy and other music stores.

However, many retail outlets south of Hamilton have no tickets left or only a few remaining for sale.

The Big Day Out prints a limited number of tickets for distribution to our retail outlets. If your local music store has sold out of tickets at this time, the Big Day Out
recommends using other official outlets until the concert sell-out is announced.

"You'll need a ticket to get in and we don't accept wooden coins," warned Big Day Out promoter Campbell Smith.

This year's Big Day Out is headlined by some of the largest rock and alternative acts in the world - Tool, Muse, My Chemical Romance and The Killers will play
alongside a host of local stars including Scribe, Blindspott and Evermore.
