Ask Your Auntie – Only On Maori Television!

Ask Your Auntie – Only On Maori Television!

Is your mate stealing from her mum? Want to heal a son’s broken heart? Sick of whanau treating your home like a hotel? Need to tell your girlfriend her tan looks fake?

These are just some of the issues which will be tackled when Maori Television’s top rating panel show ASK YOUR AUNTIE returns for a fourth series – Monday to Friday at 6.30 PM from Monday January 29.

Produced by Greenstone Pictures, the half-hour weeknight studio-based series has built a reputation for no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is wisdom from the agony ‘Aunties’.

Host Ella Henry is joined by a rotating panel of talented and knowledgeable women including Mabel Wharekawa-Burt, Aroha Hathaway, Vanessa Rare, Veeshayne Patuwai, Kath Akuhata-Brown, Christina Asher, Whetu Fala, Ngawai Herewini and Rachel House.

Henry and her panel of four Aunties draw on their own rich and varied life experiences when answering viewers’ questions about life, relationships, work and health – and the delicate balance of culture and tradition in today’s modern world.

Viewers are encouraged to send in their letters to: ASK YOUR AUNTIE, PO Box 56-333, Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland; phone 0800 AUNTIES (0800 286 8437); or e-mail askyourauntie@gspictures.co.nz.

Catch ASK YOUR AUNTIE on Maori Television every weeknight – Monday to Friday – at 6.30 PM from Monday January 29.
