Dirtycash in association with 95 BFM presents DIGITAL MYSTIKZ, direct from the U.K

Saturday 24th March at Galatos

17 Galatos St Newton Auckland

with local support from Frostyboy, StinkyJim, Jason Howson,

Onelouder & Strictly 138.

Strictly limited $20 presales from Beat Merchants & Real Groovy

Digital Mystikz hit Auckland loaded with bonafide bass weight pressure and set to hype the dance with their pioneering dubstep vibe! The Mystikz fuse there love of reggae, dub, dancehall, early jungle, and dark garage into a hybrid of revolutionary sound that measures low end pyrotechnics against sci fi rasta-brations that will batten down your ear drums & take up squatters rights in your cranium. They have virtually written dubstep's doctrine with audio dynamite on the likes of Tempa, Tectonic, Rephlex, Big Apple and Planet Mu, and have launched DMZ the label & club night. Held at the Mass in Brixton, the DMZ monthly has reached epic proportions, no less than 1000 punters up for the dubstep dance. A DMZ 12"
is certified dubstep gold, featuring crucial excursions from Mala, Coki and Loefah, aka team DMZ. From Mala's epic skank fueled 'Anti War Dub', to Coki's explosion of bassline wobble on 'Shattered' along with Loefah's minimalist sub swagger on the likes of 'Ruffige', DMZ have got all points of the dubstep map on lock. Recently bestowed the highest honour with releases on the legendary Soul Jazz, along with a freshly minted dubstep remix of Fat Freddy's Drop and it's fair to say the Digital Mystikz arsenal is tumbling out of bassbins at unprecedented levels. They have had widespread exposure from Radio 1 Dj's Mary Anne Hobbs, Zane Lowe, and Gilles Peterson, while dominating pirate radio as dubstep rises to
the forefront of urban culture! The Mytsikz have headlined across the U.K, Europe & the US, from pioneering club-night Forward>>, to Future Sonic in Manchester , Subloaded in Bristol, Dub War in New York and regular appearances at the U.K's leading club, Fabric. Digital Mystikz debut NZ appearance comes highly anticipated, and represents a very rare opportunity to catch artists at the top of their game, poised to unleash an exciting new movement to a local audience.
