Another Lotto Millionaire
Another Lotto Millionaire
For the second week in a row, Lotto First Division has just made one lucky Lotto player a millionaire, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
The winning ticket was purchased at St Martins New World in Christchurch.
"The summer season might be coming to an end, but the Lotto dream is just beginning for our First Division winner tonight," says Mr McLeay.
Lotto Powerball has jackpotted tonight to an estimated $2 million in next week's draw.
Strike Four has also jackpotted tonight making next weekend's draw a $1.1 million jackpot.
Another winner tonight was Kathy Tainui from Lower Hutt, who won $500,000 live on Lotto's Winning Wheel. Kathy and her husband, Paul, enjoyed a luxury weekend in Wellington staying at the Duxton Hotel, a shopping trip with a stylist for an outfit to wear on the show, and lunch with Lotto presenter Hilary Timmins, leading up to her winning spin.
Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold by PAK'n'SAVE in Tauranga. The serial number is 550-52581380-20XX
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet," Mr McLeay says.
