2007 Dates Announced

The much loved Latin American Film Festival comes to cinemas nationwide during April and May this year.

Vibrant and tantalising, the movies played during this showcase of Latin American culture always promise to reveal a fresh perspective on the world to us.

The Latin American Film Festival is unique in that it is programmed by the Ambassador of each country, based on advice from their Ministry of Culture. Films are selected based on their cultural and entertainment value and it is rare that any title has commercial distribution in Australasia. All films are screening for the first time in New Zealand.

The Latin American Film Festival is an initiative of the Group of Latin American Heads of Mission, comprised of the Ambassadors to New Zealand from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru.

Festival Manager Dan Slevin is pleased to announce strong growth enabling Hamilton City to be added to the existing circuit of Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch this year.

Rialto Cinemas Christchurch: 10 MAY - 16 MAY
