TelstraClear sponsors festival Gala Night
TelstraClear has announced it is naming rights sponsor of the opening gala night at the Montana 45th National Jazz Festival, Tauranga.
The TelstraClear Grand Opening Gala on Thursday 5 April 2007 features the popular The Glory of Gershwin concert, which has already sold out. TelstraClear will also host the only corporate hospitality marquee at the festival.
TelstraClear Northern Region Manager Andrew Hitchfield says TelstraClear is proud to sponsor the festival, and looks forward to further participation in the Tauranga community in future. "We see this sponsorship as an important commitment to the Tauranga community - and a reflection of the much bigger part we're going to play in daily life in the city when Tauranga Unplugged launches later this year. We can't wait to bring this unique and truly competitive service to the city."
The Montana 45th National Jazz Festival, Tauranga Programme Director Colin Lunt says it demonstrates the success of the Easter event when sponsors such as TelstraClear are so willing to participate.
"Having such a great line up of sponsors keen to get behind this annual festival proves just how much it has evolved over time. It truly has become a prestigious part of Tauranga's cultural event schedule. This year ticket sales have exceeded expectations, with the first two nights already showing Full House signs. The public should get in quick for tickets to the other events."
