ALBUM AMY RACECAR - CONCLUSIONS
Acerbic modern rock seen on current stages as well as unparalleled oddities. - Real Groove Magazine

The peculiar beast that is Amy Racecar is sure to root the listener to the spot, whether it is from the ecstasy of musical carnage or horror at the toppling of pop idols. - Rip It Up Magazine

Amy Racecar have been making music and love with the New Zealand public since early 2002. Lurching between furious power blasts and lilting country ballads along with new wave beatdowns splashed with no wave mouthwash, and taking leaf or two from Split Enz, Head Like a Hole, The Headless Chickens with a dash of The Skeptics and the Patea Maori Club.

Intrigued? Take a listen and draw your own conclusions.

CDEP SAYULEE - APRIL FOOL
In an increasing niche music market, Sayulee defies all boxes. Her music is a unique melting pot of acoustic-folk, pop, rock and jazz elements, which she crafts into a unique style that is all her own. Combine this with her multi-cultural heritage, and you get the beautiful blend that is Sayulee.

From humble musical beginnings on piano at the age of 6, Sayulee has since moved from piano to drums to guitar, a well-loved Taylor Dreadnaught, which she taught herself to play. At first, Sayulee took a conventional career path, completing a business degree at Massey but she eventually went on to study music and tour New Zealand with the Excel school of performing arts. During her time there, she received the top female vocalist award in recognition of her unique talent.

April Fool is a six-song journey that exhibits Sayulee's penchant for combining the winsome love song and the pop serenade. As her first recorded outing, it's clear that she hasn't spared any expense on the depth of her songwriting, singing and delivery. Produced by Evan Cooper ( Cindy Ruakere, Hannah Donald, Mumsdollar).

ARTIST OPSHOP
Opshop was started by Invercargill born Christchurch raised singer/songwriter Jason Kerrison who was basing himself in Auckland crafting his work at a residency in a smoky backpacker's bar downtown. Growing tired of the solo shows, he invited guitarist Tim Skedden (old school mate) to join him and share the acoustic vibe that the club and its punters had come to enjoy. In the following year, Kerrison met up with another old school mate and long time jamming drummer, Bobby Kennedy (also from Christchurch) and invited him to join the very young band. In the following few months, another long-term friend crossed Kerrison's path.

Guitarist Matt Treacy (yet another Cantabrian) was also living in Auckland and was soon to be a member of this emerging act. So with four members in place, jamming, interacting, along with plenty of nostalgia and catching up on the Christchurch days, the OPSHOP bandwagon was now rolling.

As the band remained behind closed doors, a demo recording of their work found its way into the hands of Adrien de Croy and Tracy Magan, of the newly founded label Siren Records, who really liked what they were hearing.

This lead to You Are Here their debut album which was released in 2004. It achieved platinum sales and had six singles in the top 10 Rock Charts including No
Ordinary Thing, Secrets, Saturated and Oxygen.

Since then the band has successfully operated as a four-piece following the departure of Tim Skeddon and Ian Munroe with the smaller line-up being a positive change. The comings and goings have done nothing to diminish the band's intensity.

Second Hand Planet is Opshop's long awaited follow up to You Are Here. The album was produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Spiritualized, Catatonia) with all songs written by Jason Kerrison and Opshop.
