Christchurch photographer Euan Cameron has
won the MotorSport New Zealand Photographer of the Year
Award with a portfolio of action shots. This is the fourth
occasion Cameron has won the award since 2001.
The competition is open to all MotorSport accredited photographers.
Cameron’s single shot of an airborne Porsche at the Powerbuilt Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch also won the award for the best single shot. The competition for this award is open to anyone.
The MotorSport Journalist of the Year Award was won by broadcaster Brian Kelly from Tauranga while the MotorSport Television Award was won by producer/director Dave Hedge of Volt Television, Auckland.
The motorsport media also vote for a MotorSport Personality of the Year, which this year went to Colin Giltrap, the owner of the A1GP NZ team and also the man behind the successful event on January this year.
The awards were announced at the MotorSport Awards celebration in Wellington on Saturday night.
