Blending their trademark song and dance routines with comedy, narrative and theatrics the Beatgirls Birthday Bash unleashes fun and frivolousness in a full cabaret showcase as never seen by audiences before.

With sell out seasons at all of the major NZ festivals from Bay of Islands to Christchurch to Waiheke Island The Beatgirls boasts a repertoire that traverses through a multitude of decades. The all new Beatgirls 10th Birthday Bash will deliver an exuberant showcase of modern classics and sassy dance routines that caters to those who have missed out on the chance to catch this international sensation live in action - making this highly anticipated Auckland season long overdue.

The irresistible charm of this dynamic "international girl group" has been applauded by both young and old alike who have caught 'Beatgirls fever' as they have toured far and wide to Hong Kong, Miami, Puerto Rico and all over New Zealand. Being in hot demand their rigorous touring schedule has also included a string of high profile gigs including The Sports Illustrated Olympic Party and popular televised events including Dancing with the Stars, Nightline, The Tribe and a 2004 episode of the USA Today Show, broadcast live at the Athens Olympic Stadium to an audience of 140 million viewers. The global appeal of The Beatgirls has won acclaim from corporate businesses, Hollywood clientele and even boxing legend Evander Holyfield - all of which were enchanted by this funny, fabulous and foxy New Zealand trio.

With no shortage of talent on hand the members of the Beatgirls have also shot to fame for their individual pursuits in the entertainment industry . Choreographer Andrea Sanders has also won recognition by establishing the Bossa Nova group The Lounge Lizards which performed as special guests for George Benson and recording a series of children's CD's for Universal Children's Audio. In addition Andrew went on to win the role of 'Diello' in the New Zealand movie Heavenly Creatures.

A graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance, Carolyn McLaughlin's theatrical prowess has seen her play 'Sheila' in the Auckland Theatre Company production of Hair as well as "Magenta" in their production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Carolyn was also part of the sound edit team that took home an Academy Award for Peter Jackson's King Kong. Recently scoring one of the highly sought after roles in the television series Burying Bryan Carolyn has returned to Auckland for the filming of this eagerly awaited black comedy.

The newest addition to the Beat Girls, Narelle Ahrens has enjoyed success on the small screen with guest roles on Shortland Street, Duggan, Love Bites, Mercy Peak and Insiders Guide to Happiness, as well stints at Wellington theatre Circa, in plays such as The Rivals and Milo's Wake. She was conspicuously also a member of the foley pick up team for Lord of the Rings.
