The Grove Restaurant Introduces New Sound Wall

Less Noise But More To Yell About
The Grove Restaurant Introduces New Sound Wall

Taking customer feedback seriously, The Grove restaurant has built a new sound wall lining one side of the award-winning restaurant.

Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to the owners of The Grove, Michael and Annette Dearth, who are delighted at the positive impact the sound wall, created by Paul Izzard Design, has made at decreasing atmospheric noise within the restaurant.

“Tackling the noise levels in the restaurant is something we’ve been planning for a while and had looked at several options. We’ve worked with Paul from the start on the design of the restaurant, so this new addition still has his signature style,” says Michael.

This new development falls hot on the heels of the announcement that The Grove has been selected as a Cuisine Restaurant of the Year finalist. They will be judged against 32 other restaurants across New Zealand. This is the second year in a row that The Grove has been a finalist for the prestigious Awards, which are believed to set the benchmark and be one of the most authoritative accolades for restaurant and dining excellence, nationwide.

This nomination is in addition to Head Chef, Sid Sahrawat, winning Outstanding Chef of the Year at the recent 2007 Lewisham Awards, announced on 27 May. Sid received this award straight after picking up the Innovative Chef of the Year at the 2006 Awards. The Lewisham Awards, now into its fifth year, honours all aspects of the industry that employs over 23,000 people in the wider Auckland environment.

Great restaurant, outstanding food, award winning chef and even better atmosphere, there is no reason not to visit The Grove. Visit www.thegroverestaurant.co.nz to view the full menu, or call (09) 368 4129 to make a reservation for a magical dining experience.
