UK Scholarship winner to give public gallery talk
Dunedin curator and exchange scholar Robyn Notman will give a talk on her recent UK arts and heritage trip at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery on August 8.
British High Commissioner George Fergusson and other Dunedin-based friends of the NZ - UK Link Foundation will also attend the public talk.
Notman, a gallery manager, is the latest Clark Collection / Creative New Zealand Scholarship winner to return from the UK.
She won an eight week study tour
of the UK attending the Attingham Trust Summer School, a top
international arts and heritage course. She then spent time
as an intern with
English Heritage, the Royal Collection
at Buckingham Palace, the Victoria & Albert Museum and at
the National Trust.
Notman’s scholarship trip was made possible by the Clark Collection, Creative New Zealand, the NZ-UK Link Foundation and Museums Aotearoa.
