MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS SET TO AIR EXCLUSIVELY FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY ON MTV NZ AT 6.30PM, TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 11

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, RIHANNA, TIMBALAND, FOO FIGHTERS, AMY WINEHOUSE, KANYE WEST, FALL OUT BOY, LILY ALLEN, AND CHRIS BROWN ARE SET TO PERFORM AT THE 2007 VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS IN VEGAS MTV TAPS SUPER-PRODUCER TIMBALAND AS MAESTRO

Auckland, New Zealand - (August 8, 2007) – In an unprecedented move, MTV remixes the “2007 MTV Video Music Awards” by teaming with innovative music producer Timbaland to be the show's Maestro and by bringing together today’s hottest artists to create unique and collaborative “one time only” performances at the 24th annual awards show set to exclusively broadcast on MTV, Channel 60, SKY Digital, Tuesday September 11th at 6.30pm.

Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, and Fall Out Boy will be performing with special guests live from The Palms Fantasy Suites, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Its HOT fun in the desert as Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Chris Brown have also been added to the list of powerhouse performers. In addition, celebrity DJ/Producer Mark Ronson will rock the party in The Pearl with help from his turntables, horn section and surprise guests. Presenters and additional performers for the “2007 MTV Video Music Awards” will be announced at a later date.

"We may not own Las Vegas yet, but for one weekend the VMAs will rock this town," said Christina Norman, President, MTV. "From Justin to Rihanna to the Foo Fighters, the sheer amount of star power and talent is tremendous and will no doubt blow the roof off The Palms. And, seriously, this is just the beginning."
