Trelise Cooper Seizes the Opportunity to Combine Two of Her Greatest Passions
Trelise Cooper is delighted to have the opportunity to combine her involvement in the spectacular Montana World of WearableArt™ (WOW®) Awards, with her support of the Breast Cancer Research Trust.
In addition to her role as Patron of the Breast Cancer Research Trust, which seeks to find a cure for breast cancer in our life time, Trelise is also a judge at this year’s Montana WOW® Awards Show.
Montana WOW® Awards Show annually sells tickets to its dress rehearsal, a two hour theatrical extravaganza of movement, sound and light, which will be held the night before the opening night, on 19 September 2007. Proceeds from the evening go to the Breast Cancer Research Trust and UNICEF.
“I loved being a judge at the 2003 Montana WOW® Awards Show, so I’m thrilled to be involved again this year. The level of extraordinary creativity and talent from designers, artists and ordinary people is truly amazing. WOW® is such a spectacular event and I’m incredibly excited about the public dress rehearsal performance that will allow even more people to experience WOW but also to raises money for the Breast Cancer Research Trust which has such a positive impact on so many people,” says Trelise Cooper.
Stepping into a world where the boundaries between fashion and art merge merge, Trelise Cooper, along with fellow judges Christchurch sculptor, Neil Dawson and WOW® creator and director, Suzie Moncrieff, have already selected which garments from the hundreds of entries received, will be individually choreographed into a unique performance piece showcased in September. The award winning garments will be revealed on opening night.
