Bacardi B-Live Tour: Back In October With Top US Talent

- Kiwi artists collaborate with top US DJs to provide unique performances -

Bacardi is bringing two leading US DJs/ Producers, King Britt and Nickodemus, to New Zealand for the Bacardi B-Live tour in October.

As part of a new music initiative, the DJs will join Kiwi artists for a series of collaboration concerts, delivering eclectic music through a live performance exclusive to the tour.

The New Zealand artists joining King Britt and Nickodemus on the Bacardi B-Live tour include Module, Recloose, MC Kyla, and Lisa Tomlins, plus special unannounced guests. Performances will take place in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.

The October tour builds on the success of Bacardi B-Live OE: Brazil, which involved six of New Zealand’s most talented musicians travelling to Sao Paulo to record an amazing album with some of Brazil’s finest talent.

“Last year we took top Kiwi talent to the world…this year we are bringing some of the world’s best DJs to New Zealand’s shores,” says Natarsha Urquhart, Bacardi Brand Manager.

The Bacardi B-LIVE Tour is a joint effort between Bacardi NZ and LOOP Recordings Aot(ear)roa. It is the first time music icons King Britt and Nickodemus will have visited this country.

Kiwi music lovers will get the opportunity to experience the unique music when the Bacardi B-LIVE tour visits Auckland (4:20, 12 October); Wellington (Sandwiches, 13 October); Christchurch (The Civic, 19 October) and Queenstown (Subculture, 20 October).

Ms Urquhart says Bacardi is committed to helping develop Kiwi musical talent on both a local and international scale.

"Bacardi B-LIVE tour is a great project for Bacardi NZ to be involved in. It allows us to keep supporting some of New Zealand’s most accomplished musical talent, while bringing some of the world’s best talent for all New Zealanders to enjoy," says Ms Urquhart.

“The project provides our home-grown artists with opportunities to explore new musical cultures and influences. Bringing DJs who have different styles, sounds and experiences, to collaborate with Kiwi artists reinforces the level of commitment by Bacardi to the development of New Zealand music.”

Bacardi's continued support of this project has ensured that New Zealand artists will yet again get the chance to collaborate in the studio with some world renowned producers. Look out for the follow up album to OE: Brazil, entitled OE: New York, in the near future.
