New Zealand’s longest running drum and bass radio show once again celebrates its existence by taking its sound from the airwaves to the club for 2 huge parties showcasing some of the premium musical talent this country has to offer. Each night will be anchored by long standing Future Funk show hosts, Bass Frontiers residents and Welly's Most Dangerous dnb soldiers DDog & Sal.
Part 1 will feature The Upbeats who will be laying down their own brand of heavyweight drum and bass tech funk and giving you a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming second album due for release very soon on Bad Company Recordings. They have played support for many of the top internationals that have passed through Wellington in recent times such as Black Sun Empire, Teebee and Calyx. This will be your first chance in awhile to see the boys hold down the headline set and have the crowd all to themselves at the peak party time.
Future Funks mission continues to present the freshest and best drum and bass music available, expect nothing short of 2 nights of exclusive, tearing and progressive, future beats and bass.
